(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Commemorating the anniversary of victory of Islamic Revolution, he noted that the Founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, late Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest in peace) was a divine figure, who led Iran's Islamic Revolution, and paved the way for materialization of the ideals of the sacred religion of Islam.
He added that prior to victory of Islamic Revolution; the former despotic pahlavi regime promoted Western culture in Iran and was dependent on the foreign powers, military- and economic-wise.
Referring to spread of corruption in Iran prior to victory of Islamic Revolution, he underlined that the victory of Islamic Revolution led to purity of peoples' lives and promotion of talents that were banned during the rule of former despotic regime.
Tehran's interim Friday Prayer leader pointed out that with the victory of Islamic Revolution, an awakening took shape in the World of Islam and Muslims, across the world, have gained their identity due to the Islamic Revolution.
Hojjatoleslam Seddiqi noted that developments in North Africa, including Egypt, are inspired by the victory of Islamic Revolution, while adding that the people, who have previously stood firm against the Zionist regime's incursions, have also stood firm against the Pharaoh of this era.
